Essential Design Concepts is the freelance, visual consulting company created by designer
Candra Cook. Candra specializes in a variety of artistic output ranging from professional
illustrations, print-work to web designs. She is proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator,
InDesign, Quark, DreamWeaver, Flash and several other graphic programs and applications.
Currently based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Essential Design Concepts extends its services
to clients all over the nation. The company creates visual identities for businesses of all sizes,
and works closely with each client in order to create spectacular results.
Candra's artistic path began in her hometown of Dallas, Texas, where she attended
Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts (also known as
Arts Magnet). After graduating with honors in 2002, she would later venture to Philadelphia
to attend Moore College of Art and Design. There, she received her Bachelor of Fine Arts
degree
for Illustration with a minor in Graphic and Web Design.
For years Candra Cook has had the pleasure of encountering individuals who have all had the common goal of receiving personalized creative designs. Delivering first class results to her
clients has become her top priority.
Today, in addition to serving as the primary graphics and web designer for L.F. Driscoll Co.,
Candra attends La Salle University as a Masters candidate in Computer Information Sciences.
